What are your pyjamas made from?
All our sleepwear is made from 100% pure cotton — either soft brushed cotton for cosy nights or lightweight woven cotton for warmer months. Nothing synthetic, just breathable natural fibre that's kind to children's skin.
Where are your products made?
Everything is designed in England and ethically made by a small, family-owned producer in India whose team includes in-house pattern masters, weavers, embroiderers and seamstresses. Each piece is made in small batches and hand-finished with care.
Why do the embroidery or stitching details vary slightly between items?
Because they're genuinely handmade. The majority of our embroidery is hand-stitched by skilled artisans, so you may see small variations in thread tension or placement. We think that's part of the charm — no two are identical.
Do your clothes really last?
That's the idea. Our cotton actually softens and improves with washing, and the pieces are made to be passed down to the next little one. We're proud to be part of a sustainable, circular way of dressing children.
Sizing & Care
What sizes do you offer?
Sizes run from around 9–12 months up to 11–12 years, though the exact range varies by style. Each product page lists the sizes available for that design.
How should I care for them?
All our 100% cotton products are machine washable at 30°C. They can be tumble dried, and while they look their best ironed, it isn't essential.
My child is between sizes — what should I choose?
Our pyjamas are designed with a comfortable, relaxed fit and a little growing room, so if your child is between sizes we'd suggest sizing up.
Shipping & Delivery
How much is delivery?
UK shipping is free on all orders over £50. For orders under £50, shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days and typically arrive within 3–5 working days.
Do you ship internationally?
Because of the regulations that apply to children's nightwear, we're currently only able to ship our pyjamas within the UK. The one exception is pyjamas ordered as costumes — for films, plays and other productions — which we can ship internationally. If that's what you need, email us at hello@turquaz.co.uk and we'll help arrange it.
Returns & Exchanges
What's your returns policy?
If you're not happy with your order, we offer a full refund on items returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they're unworn and have their tags attached. Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty.

An item arrived damaged or faulty — what do I do?

Ordering & Gifts
Do you offer gift wrapping?
We don't currently offer gift wrapping.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If you change your mind after placing an order, just get in touch at hello@turquaz.co.uk and we'll make any changes you need — as long as it hasn't already been shipped.
